Stylish Summer Wedding

This dessert bar was created from scratch with the help of my Sous Chef. Who is amazing by the way. I had Sandra, the bride (with the help of her fiance) pick out what she liked from the menu I created just for her. For her cutting cake I hand made golden poppies, ferns, and mushrooms out of sugar paste. The outside of the cake was covered in buttercream (the real thing) and textured. To add height, a dummy cake was wrapped in ribbon and placed underneath the cake. Then I topped the cake with the adorable cake toppers Sandra bought to finish off the cake!

Below from left to right there is a peach lavender-honey crepe cake, vegan dipped chocolate-lavender cookies, red velvet cake from her Grandma, strawberry-basil macarons, and a chiffon cake filled with lemon curd.

I had such a pleasure working with Sandra and her wedding was absolutely beautiful!
